Logan Men Win at Lewis & Clark, 104-102, in Overtime

GODFREY – John A. Logan needed overtime to gain a road win, 104-102, over Lewis & Clark. It was the third straight overtime game for the Vols.

After trailing by 11 at the half, the Vols battled back to take the lead midway through the second half, but the Trailblazers came from five down in the final minute to tie the game at 95-95 on a drive by Dionte Raines.

Logan took control in the overtime and went up by 10 before a frantic Lewis & Clark rally was ended by six straight points by Derek Hawthorne. Jaivone Eaves led Logan with 27 points while Hawthorne had 19, Ronnie Carson added 17, Damion Taylor chipped in 13 and David Sloan had 11. Rafael Cruz led the Trailblazers with 27.

Logan is now 8-1 on the season while Lewis & Clark is 4-3.
