INA, IL — Jaiveon Eaves made three of four triples to propel John A. Logan to a 16-3 lead over Lincoln Trail and coasted to a 96-61 victory in the quarter finals of the NJCAA District Tournament at Rend Lake College on Wednesday night.

The Volunteers, 26-5, led 45-29 at the half and led by as many as 37 points in the second half as three players scored in double figures. Eaves led the way with 17 points while Vonnie Patterson had 15 and David Sloan 13.

Lincoln Trail was led by LeAaron Cain with 23 points.

Logan will face Southwestern Illinois in the tourney semi-finals on Thursday, 8 p.m., at Rend Lake College!
