INA, IL — The Southwestern Illinois College big men, Javonte Perkins and Jaalam Hill, combined for 48 points to lead the Blue Storm to a 76-66 upset win over John A. Logan in the semi-finals of the NJCAA District Tournament at Rend Lake College on Thursday night.

Perkins, who had 26 points and Hill who had 22 also controlled the back boards for SWIC, 25-7.

Logan ends the season with a 26-6 record and the conference championship. The Volunteers were led by David Sloan with 17 points while Jaiveon Eaves had 13, Melo Burrell 12 and Derek Hawthorne Jr. with 10.
