Lady Vols Softball add two more impressive wins to their overall record 16-8, 14-6 in the GRAC. Pitcher Sydney Levan pitched 5 innings allowing 2 runs on 6 hits to gain the win over Rend Lake College. The Vols hitters were aggressive at the plate from the first inning scoring 2 runs in the 1st, 8 in the 2nd, 1 in the 4th, and 6 in the 5th to pick up the win in game one 17-2. Lexi Childers went 3-4 with 3 runs scored along with the help of Taylor Rogers, Sydney Levan, and Taja Dedecker's homeruns. Mikayla Chamness and Sarah Aldridge were 2-3 and Makayla Smothers helped the Vols being 2-4. 

 

In game two, Bailey Anderson started allowing  7 hits in 5 innings pitched.  Sarah Aldridge picked up the win after coming in the 6th inning.  Trailing from behind the Vols continued the homerun rampage with 3 in the game by Sydney Levan (1), Taylor Rogers (1), and Sarah Aldridge (1). Rebecca Moffett had a hot bat going 3-5 with the help of Ally Vaughn 2-4 and Lexi Childers 3-6. The Vols return back to play at Shawnee Community College at 2pm-4pm.
