Lady Vols sweep Shawnee Community College today to continue a 6 game winning streak.

Starting pitcher Sarah Aldridge picked up her 4th win throwing 7 solid innings.

The Lady Vols offense was off to a slow start in the first game but finally came alive to take the win 8-4.

Combined stats for today's doubleheader included:  Lexi Childers 5-8, Sydney Levan Lady 4-8 (HR) Rebecca Moffett 7-8 (Grand Slam).  And the HR's didn't stop there.  Five more were added by: Taja Dedecker (2) Taylor Rogers (2) Lynnsay Wilson (1).


Freshman Bailey Anderson got the game 2 start going 4 innings and with help from Freshman Alyssa Wright closing out the 5th inning.  Final score 17-3.

The Lady Vols have now hit 24 HR's in their last 8 games and return to action against #2 Lake Land at home this Thursday at 2/4.
