The Lady Vols welcomed #2 conference seated Lake Land College today and came away with a split.
Game one ended in disappointment. The Vols struggled defensively in the field and were silent offensively until the 6th inning. Rebecca Moffett's grand slam put the Vols on top 6-4 but they could not close out the final inning losing the contest 8-4.

Game two had Freshman Bailey Anderson on the mound. Anderson allowed 3 runs on 8 hits to pick up the victory.

Coach Orsburn-Siefert was happy with the way the girls responded in game two but stated, "We must improve mentally in close games in the late innings to finish games, like the ones today, strong."
