BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Sophomore standout second baseman Alexis Childers will be continuing her academic and athletic career at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY after her sophomore season. Childers is not only a standout on the field but in the classroom as well holding a 4.0 the last two years. Childers will be studying Elementary Education at Transylvania and plans on going to graduate school in the future.  Coach Siefert stated,"Lexi is the type of player you want as a coach. Her work ethic is unmatched and is always accountable day in and day out. She is a strong leader on and off the field. Transylvania Coach Hendrickson is getting one great kid. It has been my pleasure coaching Lexi and can't wait to see what she does at the next level." Transylvania is ranked 24th in the nation at the D3 level and recently defeated the ninth ranked team Case Western Reserve.
