Game 1 Recap:

Saturday's game one against Wabash Valley Lady Warriors was a heartbreaker for the Lady Vols, as they lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat. Wabash Valley Lady Warriors was down 2-1 in the top of the sixth inning when an error scored two runs for Wabash Valley Lady Warriors.

Calli Sutcliffe took the loss for the Lady Vols. She lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out three.  JALC tallied one home run on the day. Lexi Middendorf had a long ball in the fourth inning. Hanna Schulmeister led the Lady Vols with two hits in three at bats.

Game 2 Recap:

Game two the Lady Vols fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-3 loss against WVC. The Lady Vols struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Warriors.  Sydney Monje went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead the Lady Vols in hits.

The Lady Vols return back to action this week playing Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
