Danyelle Eiler's officially signed her NLI to continue her academic and athletic career at Southern Illinois University of Carbondale. Danyelle completed her freshman year with great stastics with a .350BA, 2HR,27RBI, 19R, 5SB, and .398OBP. Danyelle stood out in the classroom as well her freshman year making the Vice President's List in Fall of 2018 and Spring of 2019. She also was selcted to be on the NJCAA Third Team All-Academic Team.
Coach O stated, "Danyelle is such a quite competitor and leader. Danyelle leads by example without having to say a word on the field and in the classroom. Our freshman watch how she takes charge and leads by example and hard work. She has worked extremely hard and developed into such a great athlete that she will do great things for the SIUC softball program. Coach Blaylock is getting a wonderful kid and athlete to join her program in the fall of 2020."
