CARTERVILLE – The John A. Logan Lady Vols opened conference play with an 81-68 win over previously unbeaten Lincoln Trail.

The Lady Vols, 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference, had four players score in double figures. Farasia Hodge and Destiny Cozart each had 20 points while Kaili Bacon added 12 and Shaniya Whitsell 11.

Logan dominated the boards 42-28 with Miriah Donelson leading the way with 8 while Hodge and Alicia Hornbuckle each had 7.

Bre Spalding led Lincoln Trail, 4-1 overall and 0-1 in the league, with 20 points.

The Lady Vols will play at Shawnee on Tuesday, 5:30 p.m.
