CARTERVILLE — Destiny Cozart led John A. Logan to an 88-73 win over Three Rivers College. The game was tied 33-33 at the half, but with Cozart leading the way with 15 points the Lady Vols outscored the Raiders 30-22 in the third quarter and then held on for the win.

Cozart finished the game with 26 points on 8-12 from the field, 2-for-4 from three and 8-for-8 at the line. She also had 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

Farasia Hodge scored 19 points and Shaniya Whitsell had 15 points and a team-high 9 rebounds. The Lady Vols are now 7-2 going into a Saturday home game at 12 p.m. against Mineral Area College.

Three Rivers, 73-72 winners over the Lady Vols just one week ago, falls to 11-4.
