CARTERVILLE — The Vincennes University women never trailed in defeating John A. Logan 76-73. Logan battled back to tie the score in the final quaater, but could never take the lead.
The Trailblazers, 10-4, were led by Ladelia Maggett with 27 points whhile Mykel Roth had 16 and Marquiia Easley had 15. Claudia Stan, 6-foot 5-inch, post player controlled much of the game with 7 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocked shots.
Logan, 9-3, was led by Shaniyq Whitsell, Farasia Hodge and Miriah Donelson with 15 points each while Kaili Bacon had 14 and Destiny Cozart 10.
