VINCENNES, Ind. — The John A. Logan women's basketball team led most of the way in scoring an 87-70 win over nationally ranked Vincennes University.

The Lady Vols, 16-7, won for the fifth straight time and did so in a convincing manner. The Lady Vols led 20-14 after one quarter and 37-29 at the half before

going into the fourth quarter up 59-43, Leading the way was Alicia Hornbuckle and Shaniya Whitsell with 18 points each. Vincennes, 19-6 and ranked 23rd nationally, was led by Ladellia Maggett with 14 points.

Logan will go for a sixth straight win on Saturday when they host Olney in a 1 p.m. conference game.
