INA, IL- The John A Logan Lady Volunteers keep the wins rolling after defeating another conference team, Rend Lake College. With this win, the Lady Vols improve their record to 10-7.
The Lady Vols got off to a hot start in the first half going up by 20 points on the Lady Warriors. The Lady Warriors fought back in the second half coming within 8 points of the Lady Vols but they couldn't overcome the deficit enough. The Lady Vols slip away with their fourth straight win and third conference win.
Sophomore, Alicia Hornbuckle, ended the game with a total of 15 points and dished 2 assists. Sophomore, Nia Marshall, ended the game with a double-double scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore, Lyric Campbell, had another great performance scoring 19 points, dishing out 4 assists, and grabbing 4 rebounds.
The Lady Vols move to 10-7 on the season. The Lady Vols will be on the road against Lincoln Trail College on 1/19 @ 1:00 pm in Robinson, IL.
