Brewton, AL - The John A. Logan Baseball team opened up the 2022 campaign in style with a come from behind 6-5 victory over Coastal Alabama- East on Saturday. The Vols took the lead for the first time in the 9th scoring two runs to take a 6-4 lead before Ian McMahon closed the game out, picking up his first save on the year. Benny Thompson (1-0) would get the win in relief. Nate Thomas would get the start for Logan. Bryson Arnette would lead the offense, collecting two hits and 2 RBI. Jason Hodges would connect on his first home run on the season.
